The Poisonerd Chocolates Case, by Anthony Berkeley

Anthony Berkeley

Anthony Berkeley Cox wrote detective stories and novels under a few names in the 1920s and 1930s: A. B. Cox, Anthony Berkeley, Francis Iles, and A. Monmouth Platts. He is known for both puzzle mysteries in the style of the golden age of British mystery, and for more character-based, psychological mysteries, one of which (Before the Fact) was the basis for Alfred Hitchcock’s 1941 film Suspicion.
