Shamini Flint

Shamini Flint is an author and environmental activist, but she began her work life as a lawyer, first in Kuala Lumpur and then in Singapore. Flint writes two very different, yet also similar, series: the Sasha series of children's picture books, about a little girl who travels around Asia, and the Inspector Singh series. Flint makes good use of her experience as a lawyer and her travels around Asia in all her writing, setting her Inspector Singh books in various locales, and examining salient contemporary issues in the region. Flint lives in Singapore.
