Bonnie Jones Reynolds, born on February 7 1938, was raised outside of Clinton, New York on a dairy farm that had been in the family since 1840. After high school she was going to become a nun, until she decided to pursue a career as a ballerina at the School of American Ballet in New York City. She soon changed courses and became a successful model, traveling around the world. She also attempted an acting career, appearing in many television shows during the '70s. She wrote The Truth About Unicorns in 1972 and The Confetti Man in 1975. She currently lives on her family farm, which she turned into Spring Farm CARES Animal Sanctuary in 1991.
