Douglas Skeggs

Douglas Skeggs is an art historian, artist, television presenter, and lecturer on painting techniques, as well as the author of several art crime mysteries. He studied art with expressionist artist Oskar Kokoschka in Switzerland, after receiving a Masters Degree in Fine Arts at Cambridge University. In addition to his novels, he has also written on Monet’s paintings of the river Seine; indeed, a painting by Monet was the subject of his first mystery novel, The Estuary Pilgrim.
