Anna Blundy
Just like her heroine, Faith Zanetti, Anna Blundy is the daughter of a foreign correspondent father who was killed by a sniper while covering a war in El Salvador (she would eventually write a memoir about her father, Every Time We Say Goodbye). She became a journalist and was a Moscow correspondent for the London Times as well as the author of a column which provided the inspiration for Helen Fielding’s Bridget Jones’ Diary. Among other things, Blundy also spent some time working as a blues singer in Russia. She currently splits her time between London and Tuscany.
