Charlie Sheldon
Charlie Sheldon, the author of neo-noir mystery Fat Chance, has worked for the Port Authorities of New York and New Jersey, the Seattle-Tacoma airport, and the Port of Seattle. He has written three books on his morning and evening commutes on trains and ferries. As he told The Seattle Times in 2000, "The work I do is very analytical, task-oriented, high-pressure. For me to do this writing is a counter to that...It's my sanity check."
